THE LAWFULNESS, EXCELLENCY, AND ADVANTAGE OF INSTRUMENTAL
MUSICK IN THE PUBLISH WORSHIP OF God, URG'D AND ENFORCED
FROM SCRIPTURE, and far greater part of Christians in all
ages.---Addressed to all (particularly the Presbyterians and
Babtists) who have been hitherto taught to look upon the use
of instrumental musick in the worship of God as unlawful.---
By a Presbyterian.
Musick has charms to sooth the savage breast,
To soften rocks, and bend the knotted oak.
